Counted Cross Stitch and Other Counted Thread Designs

We love many forms of hand embroidery but counted cross stitch ranks right at the top. In our store we stock a wonderful selection of imported European counted cross stitch kits from various companies. We also carry a huge selection of kits from the American company Shepherd's Bush. Shepherd's Bush kits are almost always on linen (28 or 32 count) and most of them are stitched with silk embroidery thread, and come with fun beads, charms, buttons or other attachments.

In addition to the kits listed above, we carry an ever-changing array of counted cross stitch graphs or leaflets. As a general rule you will find in our store pretty much ALL the designs by Mirabilia and Lavender Lace (as well as all the supplies needed to make them).

We also have some patterns in blackwork, pulled thread, and many books on Hardanger embroidery.

To the left is a partial listing of counted thread designers whose designs we carry with links to the designers' own websites. We keep in stock a good selection but of course not all of their charts and kits; if you are looking for specific cross stitch charts or wanting to search by a category such as "birth samplers" or "houses", we recommend you take a look at the Hoffman Distributing website, which lists literally thousands of charts (all of which you may special-order from us if we do not have them in stock).
